Blaze Audio Announces New Features, Vista Compatibility for RipEditBurn Plus

(Seattle, WA  May 18, 2006)   One year ago, Blaze Audio CEO Tom Jeffries predicted that RipEditBurn Plus would “...revolutionize the iPod listening experience by redefining the way music is created for MP3 players."   Since its release, RipEditBurn Plus has proven itself to customers and, in the process, become the bestselling program of the Blaze Audio line of audio software, as well as an integral component in the Suites Plus series.

Consistent with its initial goal of providing the most powerful and affordable sound editor commercially available, RipEditBurn Plus continues to incorporate new features, many of them suggested by users.  Among editing tools unique to the latest version are a built in Voice Changer, which allows a single speaker to record a variety of special voices, and a Tempo Changer, which speeds up or slows down audio files without the distortion typically associated with such a utility.  Audiophiles can add Bass Boost or reverb, change pitch, apply compression and limiting, or alter the tonal quality of any piece with Scene FX, which allows sound to be heard as if it were being experienced in a rich variety of acoustical venues.

This newest version of RipEditBurn Plus is also Vista compatible.  Blaze Audio regarded making RipEditBurn Plus accessible to the 40 million customers who have upgraded to Vista since its release a priority.  In addition, Blaze Audio wanted to ensure that this latest version of RipEditBurn Plus was ready in time to be a part of the long-awaited premier of its new online store later this month and Vista compatibility was a major part of preparing for this showcase event.

RipEditBurn Plus has established itself in the audio software market by enabling anyone to record from microphones, streaming audio, internet radio, LPs, cassettes, or CDs, then add complete studio effects for a sound uniquely suited to the individual listener.  These same recordings can be easily burned to CD or assembled in original playlists for exportation to iPods or other MP3 players.  Its wide range of editing tools, its ease of use, its versatility, and Blaze Audio’s policy of lifetime free upgrades make certain that RipEditBurn Plus will continue to grow to meets customers’ needs in the coming year.
