3. Publishing your Podcast Using Your Own Website
If you already have a website you will want to add a link to your podcast XML feed (so your listeners can subscribe) and links to each podcast. You may want to link this to a page that already exists on your website or create a page specifically for your podcasts that you can link to the other pages on your site. If you are familiar with publishing webpages you can do this yourself. If someone else handles this task for your website, such as your Webmaster or tech person, contact them now and see the next step.
The simplest way to add your subscription feed to your webpage is just to add the URL to your page. For example, following the example in ePodcast Express help files you can simply add your link in the following way e.g., To subscribe to our podcast please enter this URL in your aggregator (such as iTunes): http://www.ourtownsstories.com/podcasts.xml. You can also add a link to each podcast episode this way as well as e.g.,To listen to Episode One of Our Town's Stories, Click Here; http://www.ourtownstories.com/podcasts/episodeone.mp3 and so on.
