Okay Blaze people. Your sample files were VERY impressive for the new Noise Reduction Effect (so much so that I immediately bought it), and in fact if you use the effect on pieces of a file that only have the noise on them - it works great. However, if you apply the effect to an entire wave file because there is noise througout it, the effect is disasterous -- it strips out so much of the good sound that the result is impossibe to listen to. In fact, I used Power Record to grab your own sound bytes from your sample link, and the effect destroys those as well. It does not work anything like the sample makes it sound. How can this be??? Did a bad version of the new effect get published?

You probably have the Noise Reduction Level set too high. See the slider on the right side of the window? Put it on 1 or 2- that may work better with the sound you are trying to improve.

Nope. I tried all the settings all the way down to 1, Tom. At 1, not all the noise was removed, but the effect was still horrible on the actual music in the file.

I have sent before and after noise reduction versions of a personal music file to the support email address to show what I am experiencing. I hope someone responds back to me either by email or here in this post to explain why the effect is not working anything like advertised. If this can be straightened out, I will be happy to retract my negative statements about this product.
